The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, also known as ITBPF, has recently released a notification for inviting applications for the services/post of Head Constables (Motor mechanic) and Constables (Motor mechanic). As per the official notifications, there are a total of 241 vacancies for the recruitment of Head constables and constables. Out of these 241 vacancies, there are 60 vacancies for Head Constables (MM) and 181 vacancies are for the post of constables (MM)

ITBP Head Constable / Constable Jobs 2018

Interested candidates can online apply for the given posts from 2^nd January 2018 to 31^st January 2018.  Before applying online, aspirants must check out the given eligibility criteria and ensure whether he/she is actually eligible or not.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of Head Constables and Constables are described below:

• Candidate should be a male citizen of the country. Females cannot apply.
• The aspirant must be more than 18 years of age and should not have attained the age of 25 years as on the date of exam.
• For the post of Head Constables (motor mechanics), a candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of 12^th Standard from an Education Board which is duly recognized by Central/State govt. In addition to this, a candidate should hold a certificate in motor mechanics from a recognized institution and should have a practical experience of 3 years.
• For the post of Constables (motor mechanics), a candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of 10^th Standard from an Education Board which is duly recognized by Central/State govt. In addition to this, a candidate should have certificate of Industrial Training in respective field or at least 3 years of experience in respective field.

Exam Pattern(2018)

1. Written Examiantion: There will be a written examination for the candidates which will be conducted on OMR sheet and will be of 50 marks. The paper will contain 50 questions which have to be solved in time duration of 1 hour. Complete pattern of written examination is given below:

For the post of Head Constable, the written examination will include questions of XII Standard and for the post of Constable, the written examination will include questions of X Standard. The candidate has to score more than 35% marks to be able to qualify this paper.
Skill Test

Those who gets qualify in written examination have to appear for Skill test. Skill test will be a 50 marks paper which will be divided in 4 sections. It is important to score more than 35% marks in Skill test to qualify.

Selection Procedure for the post of Head Constables & Constables (2018):

The selection for the post of Head Constables and Constables are conducted in five stages which are briefly discussed below:

Height Bar Test: Candidates are first put to a Height Bar test and those who do not meet the prescribed height will be eliminated. The remaining Candidates shall qualify for the PET TEST.

Physical Efficiency Test: Following are the basic requirements for PET Test:
